AWeber has three plans: Free (up to 500 subscribers and 3,000 sends a month), Lite from $15/mo and Plus from $30/mo. Lite and Plus are priced by subscriber tier, 14 tiers from 500 to 150,000, and each tier includes a fixed number of sends: 10× the tier on Lite and 12× on Plus. Below: the price at every size, what Plus adds, and why people who email daily should check Plus first.

Yearly billing: 2 months free, 4 on the smallest Plus tier

On every tier the yearly price is exactly 10 times the monthly price, so paying upfront saves 2 months (16.7%). The one exception is Plus at 500 subscribers: $240 a year instead of $360, which is 4 months free (33.3%) and where the pricing page's "up to 4 months free" comes from. At 1,000 subscribers yearly billing saves $50 on Lite and $90 on Plus.

If you email every day, Plus can be cheaper

Each tier includes only so many sends a month. When you use them up, AWeber moves you to the next tier, so a daily newsletter can push you onto a tier far above your list size. Plus includes 12× sends against Lite's 10×, so it needs fewer steps up.

SubscribersLite, weeklyPlus, weeklyLite, dailyPlus, daily

50,000$375$400$920 (150,000 tier)$1,050 (150,000 tier)

Our calculation from AWeber's tiers and send allowances (How many messages can I send?): weekly is 52 emails a year per subscriber (about 4.3 a month), daily is 30 a month. Each figure is the cheapest tier whose subscriber limit and included sends both cover that, monthly billing. In bold: Plus is cheaper than Lite.

From the plan comparison table on AWeber's pricing page, checked 2026-11-03; only rows where Lite and Plus differ. Both plans include newsletters, RSS to email, the drag-and-drop builder, AMP and HTML emails, split testing, tagging, sign-up forms, AWeber Ecommerce (products, subscriptions and payment plans) and integrations such as Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and PayPal. The subscriber limit is not capped on any paid plan; you just move up tiers.

Free sits below Lite: 500 subscribers, 3,000 sends a month, one list profile and one workflow automation (AWeber). Our AWeber Free plan guide covers the rest.

Done For You is Plus plus a setup service (on 2026-11-03 its card showed $20.00 a month billed yearly at 500 subscribers, the same as Plus): AWeber's team builds 1 branded email template, 2 landing pages and 1 sign-up form, launches a welcome series, schedules a 1:1 setup call and gives 30 days of unlimited edits; the comparison table also lists newsletter content delivered weekly. On 2026-11-03 the page showed the one-time setup fee as $599 reduced to $79 under a "limited-time offer" banner with no end date.

FAQ

What are the AWeber plans?

Free ($0, up to 500 subscribers and 3,000 sends a month), Lite (from $15/mo) and Plus (from $30/mo). Lite and Plus come in 14 subscriber tiers from 500 to 150,000; above that AWeber quotes a price. The pricing page also shows Done For You: Plus plus a setup service by AWeber's team, for a one-time setup fee.

How much is AWeber per month?

Monthly billing, USD: for 1,000 subscribers Lite is $25 and Plus $45; for 10,000, $100 and $135; for 100,000, $600 and $750. Paying yearly costs 10 times the monthly price (2 months free), except Plus at 500 subscribers, which is $240 a year instead of $360.

What is the difference between AWeber Lite and Plus?

Lite limits you to 1 list, 3 landing pages, 3 email automations, 3 users and 1 saved segment, and sends up to 10× your subscriber tier a month. Plus makes all of those unlimited, sends 12×, removes AWeber branding, and adds behavioral automation, branded links, deliverability and audience reports, webpage and email sales tracking, priority support and free migration. Its ecommerce fee is 0.6% instead of 1.0%.

Is AWeber Plus worth it over Lite?

Plus costs $15–$150 a month more depending on list size. It is worth it if you need more than 3 automations or landing pages, want the AWeber logo gone, or sell a lot through AWeber Ecommerce. If you email your list every day, Plus can even be cheaper at some sizes (1,000, 10,000, 20,000 subscribers in our table) because its larger send allowance keeps you on a lower tier.

Does AWeber have a free plan?

Yes. AWeber Free is free for life with no card needed: up to 500 subscribers and 3,000 sends a month (about 100 a day), one list and one workflow automation. Going past 500 subscribers or running out of sends means upgrading to Lite or Plus. See our AWeber Free plan guide for the details.

What happens if I go over my AWeber tier?

AWeber upgrades you automatically: when your subscribers go over your tier, or when you use all the sends included in your tier, your account moves up to the next tier and sending continues. It does not move you back down; to downgrade after deleting subscribers you have to contact AWeber's Customer Solutions team.

Does AWeber have a free trial or contract?

Lite and Plus start with a 14-day trial on the pricing page, and a credit card is required for paid plans. There are no long-term contracts. AWeber takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards, and Visa or Mastercard debit cards.

Does AWeber have nonprofit or student discounts?

Yes. Nonprofits get 3 months free on a new account and then 25% off (with proof such as 501(c)(3) paperwork). Students with a .edu or .ac email get 20% off new accounts. You can also pause an account on the Hold Package for $4.99 a month.
