Klaviyo plans (2026): Free vs paid Email, the price at every profile tier and what the add-ons cost

Last verified against official pricing pages · published 3 Nov 2026

Prices change often. Each price was checked on the platform's official pricing page on the date shown; plans, promos and taxes vary. Confirm on the official site before you buy. Not financial advice.

Klaviyo has two email plans: Free (up to 250 active profiles and 500 emails a month) and Email, one paid plan whose price depends only on your active profiles: $20/mo for 500, $150 for 10,000 and $1,955 for 150,000. Every paid tier includes 10 sends per profile a month. Everything else (SMS, reviews, social, analytics, helpdesk, AI tools) is a separate monthly plan you add.

The 10,000 to 15,000 price jump

Klaviyo's tiers are uneven. The 6,501–10,000 tier is one flat $150, which makes 10,000 profiles the cheapest point per profile below 30,000 ($15 per 1,000). Right after it, every extra 500 profiles adds $25, so 15,000 profiles cost $350, more than double the price of 10,000, while 20,000 cost only $375 and 25,000 $400. In that range the price per 1,000 profiles climbs from $15 to $24.07 at 13,500 profiles. If your list is between 10,000 and 15,000, suppressing inactive profiles before your billing date saves the most here. Klaviyo: managing active profiles

Same source, checked 2026-11-03. The per-1,000 column is our calculation: tier price divided by its top profile count. On 2026-11-03 the pricing page showed a "$19 off" badge on the 500-profile tier ($1 instead of $20) without saying how long it lasts; the table uses the list price.

FAQ

What are the Klaviyo plans?

Two email plans: Free ($0, up to 250 active profiles and 500 email sends a month) and Email, a paid plan priced by active profiles from $20 a month (500 profiles) to $1,955 a month (150,000 profiles); above that you talk to sales. SMS, reviews, social, analytics, helpdesk and the AI tools are separate monthly plans you add on top.

How much is Klaviyo per month?

Monthly, in USD: $20 for up to 500 active profiles, $30 for 1,000, $100 for 5,000, $150 for 10,000, $350 for 15,000, $400 for 25,000, $720 for 50,000 and $1,380 for 100,000. Each tier includes 10 email sends per profile a month. Klaviyo bills monthly only; there's no yearly discount on its public pricing.

What counts as an active profile?

Any profile Klaviyo can email, whether or not it opted in to marketing: subscribers plus shoppers who left their email at checkout. Profiles suppressed from email (unsubscribed, bounced, or suppressed by you) don't count, and a phone number alone doesn't count.

What happens if I go over my Klaviyo plan limits?

Profiles: you can keep sending, and Klaviyo moves you to a plan that covers your active profiles at the next billing cycle (on Free you can't send until you're back under 250). Email sends: you choose in billing preferences between flexible overages (extra capacity at your plan's unit rate), upgrading, or stopping sends until the next cycle.

Does Klaviyo downgrade automatically when my list shrinks?

Not by default. Suppressing profiles lowers your active count but not your bill until you pick a lower tier yourself, or turn on auto-downgrade (available when you use flexible sending). Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle and mid-cycle downgrades aren't refunded.

What do I lose on the Klaviyo Free plan?

The Klaviyo logo stays in your emails and on pop-up forms, there's no generative AI or predictive analytics, email support ends 60 days after signup and there's no chat support. Flows, segments, forms and reports are included. Paying for SMS only does not remove the email logo. Details: Klaviyo Free plan.

Is there a Klaviyo discount right now?

On 2026-11-03 Klaviyo's pricing page showed a "$19 off" badge on the 500-profile tier, so $1 instead of $20. The page doesn't say how long it applies, so budget on the $20 list price.

Is Klaviyo SMS included in the email plan?

No. Free accounts get $5 of mobile messaging a month; beyond that SMS, MMS and WhatsApp are a separate monthly plan. Prices per country are in our Klaviyo SMS pricing guide.
